PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The tailgate on a 3rd Gen Tundra can be removed quickly if someone has access to the hinge area. The Cali Raised LED Tailgate Theft Protector adds a simple physical barrier at that point, making unauthorized removal more difficult and time-consuming.

It is laser cut from stainless steel and mounts using the factory mounting location. Tamper-resistant hardware and the required install bit are included, so there is no drilling or modification to the truck.

This is a low-profile security upgrade for Tundra owners who leave gear in the bed, park at trailheads, use their truck for work, or simply want another layer of protection for the tailgate. It is designed to deter theft, not guarantee that theft is impossible.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The SXTH Front Recovery Points give your Tacoma, 4Runner, or Land Cruiser 250 a clean, purpose-built front recovery connection. Each point replaces the factory attachment and extends 1.5 inches forward, creating more room between the recovery gear and the front of the vehicle when the trail gets tight.

They are CNC-machined from billet 7075 aluminum and rated by SXTH at 11,000 lb per point in the direction of pull. The black or red anodized finish keeps the look clean while the laser-engraved specs put the key information right on the part.

RECOVERY SETUP NOTES

The 11,000 lb rating applies to each point individually and in the direction of pull.
SXTH recommends using a recovery bridle to distribute load across both front recovery points.

An additional opening in the fender area gives the turbocharger a more direct path to fresh air, while the high-density polymer airbox helps keep the system organized under the hood. SXTH’s testing reports up to 14 horsepower and 14 lb-ft of torque at the wheels, along with a 12-17% airflow increase over factory Standard and TRD intake systems.

It also removes considerable weight from the back of the truck. SXTH lists the factory rear section at more than 15.5 lb, while the Trail Pipe weighs just 0.73 lb. That is more than 14 lb removed without changing the factory muffler or turning your Tundra into a loud exhaust build.

Universal mounts always feel like an afterthought, stuck to a vent or suctioned to glass, blocking a control you actually need. This one bolts to the factory air outlet module, so it sits close to where a factory mount would if Toyota or Lexus had built one in back in 1998.

Being straight with you on fit: most owners report a clean, solid install that looks like it belongs there. A couple have noted the bracket runs a bit thick, sitting slightly proud of the dash rather than perfectly flush with the air outlet module. If that's a dealbreaker for you, Course Motorsports' support team can help walk through fitment questions before you install.

If you're going with the wireless charging head, wire it to the included 12V cigarette lighter adapter rather than a USB port. Some factory USB ports sag under load and cause the charger to cycle on and off, the 12V adapter is the reliable option.
