REAL RECOVERY POINTS FOR THE 6TH GEN 4RUNNER

The 6th Gen 4Runner is already capable off pavement, but a proper recovery setup starts with secure attachment points. NYTOP Lower Front Recovery Points mount directly to the frame and give you two dedicated locations for a standard 3/4-inch D-ring or a soft shackle when recovery is needed.

They are built from 5/8-inch high-strength steel, not thin decorative hook covers. The pair is powder coated, uses the factory mounting locations and hardware, and retains a clean, factory-integrated look at the lower front of your 4Runner.

WHAT MAKES THEM DIFFERENT

These are lower front recovery points, not a complete bumper or a replacement for every recovery need. They are meant to provide a rated frame-mounted connection point for recovery gear without requiring a bumper swap, drilling, or fabrication.

They are a worthwhile first recovery upgrade for a daily-driven 4Runner that sees trail runs, snow, sand, forest roads, or remote campsites. They also make sense before adding recovery boards, a kinetic rope, or other extraction gear, because the vehicle needs a proper place to connect that gear.

INSTALLATION AND RECOVERY USE

• Mount directly to the frame using the OEM hardware.
• Torque all mounting bolts to 75 ft-lb / 101 Nm.
• NYTOP recommends using a bridle for off-road recovery situations.
• Use only properly rated recovery gear and do not exceed the 11,000 lb working load limit of either recovery point.
• Inspect the recovery points, hardware, shackles, and straps before every recovery.
