FITMENT NOTE

• Direct bolt-on design for the vehicles listed above. No tuning is required.
• Will not fit vehicles equipped with a Mishimoto radiator.
• Retains the factory sensors, crash bar, and active grille shutters.
• CARB EO D-856-2 applies only to the non-hybrid applications specifically listed by SXTH: 2024-2025 Tacoma 2.4L turbo and 2025 4Runner 2.4L turbo. Hybrid models and Land Cruiser applications are not included in SXTH's published CARB application list.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The factory intercooler works fine for normal driving, but repeated boost, hot weather, towing, and long grades can build heat quickly. The SXTH front-mount intercooler replaces it with a larger bar-and-plate core that is designed to flow more efficiently and keep intake temperatures more consistent.

It is a clean upgrade for a turbo Tacoma, 4Runner, or Land Cruiser that sees real use beyond short trips around town. The cast end tanks use factory-style connections, the factory sensors and active grille shutters stay in place, and no tune is needed after installation.

INSTALL PLANNING

This is a bolt-on install, but it is not a five-minute driveway job. Plan on removing the front bumper and setting aside roughly 1.5 to 2 hours. Confirm you are still using the factory-style radiator before ordering, since this intercooler does not fit with a Mishimoto radiator.
