The lower control arms are one of the lowest-hanging, most exposed points on the front end of the 3rd gen Tundra and Sequoia, and they take a beating from rocks and trail debris with nothing protecting them stock. This kit bolts on to shield both the control arm and the shock mount in raw 1/4-inch aluminum, TIG welded for strength without piling on unnecessary weight.

One detail worth knowing that a lot of buyers don't expect: if you've removed your active aero air dam (common with lift kits or off-road setups), it leaves open holes under the lower control arm that can whistle or hum at speed. This kit closes that gap and gets rid of the wind noise as a side benefit, not just impact protection.

Install is straightforward, bolt-on with the included hardware, no drilling or trimming. If you're running the factory TRD skid plate or TRD suspension, this kit is designed to work alongside it rather than replace it.
