The lower control arms sit low and exposed on both the Tacoma and 4Runner, right where rocks and trail debris hit hardest. This kit shields the control arm and shock mount in raw 1/4-inch aluminum, TIG welded for strength without adding a lot of extra weight to your front end.

One thing that surprises a lot of owners: if you've pulled your factory air dam for ground clearance or a lift, it leaves open gaps under the control arm that let wind whistle through at speed. This kit closes that up as a side benefit, so you get quieter highway driving along with the impact protection.

Install is straightforward, bolt-on with the included hardware, no drilling or trimming needed. Just double check your trim level first, this one does not fit KDSS-equipped trucks (common on Limited and TRD Off-Road trims with the kinetic suspension system), so confirm what you're running before you order.
